Why it is made this way
The Bolster Bed
Most dog beds are a foam block in a polyester bag and they go flat in a year. This one is a wool boucle cover over a latex and wool core that recovers overnight the way a good mattress does.
The cover unzips on three sides and washes cold. The insert is sold on its own, so the bed outlives the fabric.
Wool is the reason it does not smell. It holds moisture away from the surface and it is naturally hard for dust mites to live in.

Will this suit a dog that swims every day?
Answered by the studioBridle leather handles a swim but it does not enjoy a daily one. If your dog is in salt water most days, the Field Collar in waxed cotton is the better choice and it costs less.
Can I get the engraving done later?

How does the sizing run against a Ruffwear or a Kmart collar?
Answered by the studioOurs are measured on the neck rather than on the strap, so they usually come up one size larger in name. Use the tape measurement rather than the size you own.
