Why it is made this way
The Felted Cave
One piece of wool, felted wet around a form until it holds a dome on its own. There is no seam to fail and no frame to collapse.
Wool breathes, so the inside does not get clammy the way a synthetic igloo does. It also holds warmth, which is the reason cats pick it over the sofa.
Press the entrance flat and it becomes an open bed. Most cats use it both ways depending on the month.

Will this suit a dog that swims every day?
Answered by the studioBridle leather handles a swim but it does not enjoy a daily one. If your dog is in salt water most days, the Field Collar in waxed cotton is the better choice and it costs less.
Can I get the engraving done later?

How does the sizing run against a Ruffwear or a Kmart collar?
Answered by the studioOurs are measured on the neck rather than on the strap, so they usually come up one size larger in name. Use the tape measurement rather than the size you own.
