The Hunter Collar
The Hunter is the collar the whole label grew out of. One strip of Sedgwick bridle leather, edges bevelled and burnished by hand, a solid brass buckle that will outlast the dog wearing it.
Bridle leather is tanned for harness work, so it holds its shape instead of going limp and it takes a patina rather than cracking. Six months in it stops looking new and starts looking like yours.

Will this suit a dog that swims every day?
Answered by the studioBridle leather handles a swim but it does not enjoy a daily one. If your dog is in salt water most days, the Field Collar in waxed cotton is the better choice and it costs less.
Can I get the engraving done later?
Answered by the studioYes. Send the collar or tag back at any point and we will engrave it for $15 including return postage.
How does the sizing run against a Ruffwear or a Kmart collar?
Answered by the studioOurs are measured on the neck rather than on the strap, so they usually come up one size larger in name. Use the tape measurement rather than the size you own.
