The Plaited Lead
Eight strands of kangaroo lace plaited over a bridle core. Kangaroo is the strongest leather by weight available in this country and it breaks in faster than cowhide.
Each one takes about three hours at the bench, which is why we make them in runs of twenty.

Will this suit a dog that swims every day?
Answered by the studioBridle leather handles a swim but it does not enjoy a daily one. If your dog is in salt water most days, the Field Collar in waxed cotton is the better choice and it costs less.
Can I get the engraving done later?
Answered by the studioYes. Send the collar or tag back at any point and we will engrave it for $15 including return postage.
How does the sizing run against a Ruffwear or a Kmart collar?
Answered by the studioOurs are measured on the neck rather than on the strap, so they usually come up one size larger in name. Use the tape measurement rather than the size you own.
